Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear?
What do I wear?
Wear casual, comfortable clothes, anything you'd wear on a normal day. It's recommended you wear lace-up, closed-toe shoes. No need to change once you get here; you'll put on your flight suit on top of what you wear to the tunnel. Please remove loose-hanging items, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, and hair accessories. Also, you should remove everything from your pockets prior to flying.
What do I do upon arrival?
What do I do upon arrival?
Show up at your scheduled arrival time (1 hr before your flight time) and head to a check-in kiosk. When you enter, you'll find an associate ready to help or answer any questions. Make sure your flight waiver is filled out when you check-in. Once your check-in is complete, a member of the Flight Crew will give you your wristband and provide further direction.
How long is the flight?
How long is the flight?
The tour replicates the skydiving experience and offers flights that are about 1½ times longer than a tandem jump. So each flight is about a minute, often a bit longer but never shorter than 50 seconds. A double flight is about 100 seconds long. It may not sound long, but as a first-time flyer, it will seem much longer during the experience itself.
However, from check-in to finish, allow at least 2 hours for the whole experience.
Is iFly and accessible experience?
Is iFly and accessible experience?
iFLY's indoor skydiving is an exciting and inclusive activity that caters to people of all abilities.
They are proud to offer a fully wheelchair accessible venue with lift access, restrooms, and entrances designed to accommodate wheelchair users and individuals with mobility restrictions. Their goal is to ensure that everyone can participate and enjoy the thrill of indoor skydiving. Accessible parking is adjacent to the building as well as Accessible pick-up and drop-off points.
For those with physical disabilities, indoor skydiving can provide a sense of freedom and weightlessness, with only minimal movements required during the experience. Our instructors use visual cues to communicate, making it accessible for individuals with hearing impairments. In addition, instructors are trained in physical communication skills to support those with low vision.
The sensory input provided by the wind tunnel can also be beneficial for individuals with low sensory input needs. Throughout the indoor skydiving session, an instructor is always present to provide comfort and reassurance to the flyer.
They also understand the importance of support for caregivers. iFLY permits carers to accompany and assist their clients throughout the experience without having to pay entrance fees, if they do not participate themselves.
iFLY are committed to creating an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of their abilities. Come join us and experience the thrill of indoor skydiving in a safe and accessible environment!

No, it’s just like breathing normally. There is no specialist breathing equipment required. Just relax, and breathing will come naturally. If you do suffer from any breathing difficulties, such as Asthma, don’t worry; in most cases, you’ll still find flying a comfortable experience and be able to breathe normally.
Is there parking on site?

There is no parking onsite. However, the nearest car park is Bruce Bishop on the Gold Coast Highway, which has all-day parking for a fee. It is approximately 2 minute's walk from iFLY.
When do I need to arrive for my flight?
When do I need to arrive for my flight?
Your report time at iFLY will be confirmed via email once you have successfully completed a booking. You should report to the front desk of your chosen venue at least 60 minutes prior to your flight time. So, if you fly at 4:00 pm, you must arrive by 3:00 pm. Please do not be late, as the crew hate to see people miss their flights and is unable to offer refunds.
