Is your boat wheelchair/walker/stroller accessible?
Yes, the boat is accessible for all patrons, with intimate water level viewing, extra-wide viewing areas and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. However, for this tour, access ashore is via a tender and guests need to be physically fit and have a degree of coordination to access the tender/RIB (rigid inflatable boat) and going ashore. There is no wheelchair access to the beach – but those in wheelchairs can stay on the boat and partake in fishing.
Do you cater for vegans, vegetarians, gluten intolerances, dairy intolerances, allergies?
If sufficient notice is provided The Operator is able to cater for dietary requirements or allergies.
Can I bring my infant on board the Fraser Beach & BBQ?
Yes, the crew can safely get infants over to Fraser Island in our tender. All children under 12 are required to wear a child’s life jacket provided on board. The crew can provide sand play equipment for the little ones.
Can I bring my pram/stroller on board?
Yes but please let staff know when you book as there is limited space available to store prams/strollers.
Where can I find the departure point?
The Operator's office is located in the Great Sandy Straits Marina Terminal building and the boat leaves from the same marina. There's plenty of free car parking with no time limit. Please type in 'Whalesong Cruises' into Google maps, and it'll bring you directly to the carpark you need to park in.
